Derek Talks Music Charts — Coming Soon

Hi there! Welcome to this tiny corner on this internet!

For the longest time, I’ve been a music chart nerd, perhaps a bit too much? You see, my friends would get annoyed every time I get excited about a good chart move or how this one annoying song is still popular. So to spare them the misery of me blabbering my mouth, I’ll do it here, on the internet, to whoever wants to listen.

Here’s how this is going to work:

Most Mondays (except holidays), I’ll be here breaking down the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and giving my opinions.

Most Fridays, I’ll go over any new music that interests me. Sorry if I don’t get to yours, but my tastes are generally mainstream pop. Don’t worry, I branch out too.

And lastly, whenever, for literally anything else that piques my interest.

Am I guaranteeing that I’ll keep this up every week? No. ’Cause I’m a high school student with a million other things to do. But, given my daily obsession, it’s likely that this site will be relatively active.

I hope to see you on this journey, and if you enjoy music as much as I do, I hope you find my opinion at least somewhat interesting.
